Yesterday was Levi’s birthday. If he had had his way, it would have been all Legos, all day. Instead, we let him build a Lego monster truck (from Henry and me) before school, and then sent him off to go to school (which he loves, by the way) to eat cupcakes with his friends. After I picked him up, we headed back to Nana and Papa’s house where he got to put together a new Superman/Wonderwoman/Lex Luther set (also from Henry and me) and the Lego Star Wars “night speeder” (from my grandma). I cut him off after those two so we could go run around in the garden and get some fresh air before dinner. This morning, he insisted on building his new Lego “dirt bike transporter” (from Henry’s dad and stepmom) before eating breakfast, and now he’s busy taking various sets apart and designing new creations with the pieces. This kid certainly loves his Legos.
It’s so cliched to say that I can’t believe he’s five already, but well…I guess that’s the story of being a parent.
Love that kid to pieces.

love seeing these pix and for you loving him to pieces
I was going to leave a comment yesterday but our internet was playing up. Happy birthday to your little man… we have two Lego crazy kids in this house too, so I understand!
Happy birthday, Henry! The look on his face is awesome 🙂
HA! Henry – we know I meant Levi.
😉
